Kris and Sheila Jordan at their Wellesley Clinic

Kris is an Associate Professor in the Harmony Department at Berklee
College of Music. In addition to teaching classes in Harmony,
she also teaches ensembles and a piano lab for singers. Her other
teaching duties include private lessons at Wellesley College
and New England Conservatory.
Kris is also a busy clinician, and has worked at: The Northern Arizona
University, Jazz & Madrigal Festival, The ClarkTerry-University
of New Hampshire Jazz Festival, The Berklee High School Jazz Festival,
and the Kris Adams & Lisa Thorson Jazz Vocal Workshops among others.
She has also been Artist-in-Residence at the Centro-Cultural
Costariccense Norteamericano, Costa Rica and at the Berklee in LA
Jazz
Clinics. Kris has worked with Sheila
Jordan, Jay
Clayton, Michelle Hendricks (Spoleto Arts Symposia's Vocal
Jazz Workshop), Monica
Salmaso (San Paulo, Brazil) and Norma
Winstone (Bertinoro Music
Scuola). She has level 1 and 2 certification in teaching Jeannie
Lo Vetri's Somatic Voicework technique.
